NPCC secured the contract on April 2, 2009, after Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and the Supreme Petroleum Council (SPC) gave their consent. IGD project will process and provide gas to meet growing requirements and development plans of Abu Dhabi.
ADMA-OPCO will produce gas by drilling more gas wells and processing platform at Umm Shaif for gas dehydration and transfer to Das Island through the new 46 38 kilometers main gas line to be laid through this contract.
This challenge would not have been met but for the ambition, vision, leadership and support of ADNOC to utilize the best prevailing market conditions as golden opportunity for investment, said Ali Al-Jarwan, ADMA-OPCO general manager.
