This latest addition to the Protect PV product line expands the company’s product range of professional industrial solutions for use in solar power installations for Multi-MW utility scale.
A key feature of the Protect PV product line is its power stack with advanced-design measuring and control technology enabling DC input voltages of up to 1000 VDC and hence, thin-film modules can therefore be used efficiently.
The company said that it can also be adapted to the medium voltage grid with an appropriate transformer.
The Protect PV.500 is also available as part of AEG PS’ turnkey container solution TKS-C 1000, which is equipped with two Protect PV.500 units.
