With the addition of Mr Koutsomitopoulos, Aegean has a total of seven directors, of which the majority remains independent. Mr Koutsomitopoulos has more than 17 years of industry experience. Currently, he serves as an independent consultant to various companies. From October 2004 to May 2007, he was employed at Diana Shipping.
Mr Koutsomitopoulos graduated from the University of Athens in 1989 with a bachelor’s degree in economics and later from the City University Business School in London, in 1991, with a master’s degree in shipping, trade and finance.
