RC percussion drilling program, consisting of 27 holes for 2,220m, has been completed on a nominal 400m x 100m grid at the Chisebuka prospect, adding to the earlier drilled 35 holes that were completed in late 2007.

The recently completed drilling program was designed to test for extensions of mineralization discovered in 2007.

Assays for the first ten holes of the recent drilling program have been received and a small number of high assay results have been top cut to 1500ppm U3O8.

Whilst assay results are still outstanding for 17 holes from the current drilling program, the recent assays have extended the known mineralization by 800m along strike to the northeast.

The total strike length of mineralized intersections now exceeds 2km.

Geological interpretation of the drilling data indicates that mineralization is hosted in Karoo sediments and occurs in multiple horizons, varying from 1m to 13m in thickness, which is similar in nature to the uranium mineralization at the company’s nearby Njame and Gwabe deposits in the Chirundu JV (AFR 70%).

The Kariba Valley joint venture project is the company’s second joint venture with Albidon and contains the high-priority Chisebuka and Namakande prospects.
