Under the framework agreement, Aker Solutions will work on the fields Ula, Tambar, Hod, Skarv and Valhall.
The contract scope also includes studies, maintenance and modification project work as well as preparation work for decommissioning offshore Norway.
Effective from 01 June 2014 following the existing framework contract expiration for similar services, the two years contract is valued at maximum NOK 1.8bn and has options to extend the work by as many as four years.

For more than twenty years, Aker Solutions worked with BP in Norway and have signed the first long-term framework agreement contract, similar to the latest contract, with BP in 1999.
