Aker Solutions will make significant investments in the company’s subsea tree manufacturing plant in Curitiba, Brazil. The investment will double the current production capacity for subsea trees by 2010.
Marcelo Taulois, president of Aker Solutions’s subsea business area in Brazil, said: We are doubling our manufacturing capacity to capitalize on the huge growth in the Brazilian market and to provide an even better service to key customers such as Petrobras.
