RSEnergy Hellas Solartechnik has constructed the 2MW solar facility in Theben, northwest of Athens.

The plant is expected to produce 2,800,000kWh annually, equivalent to the annual energy consumption of 830 Greek three-person households, and this will prevent 2,500 tonnes of harmful CO2 from being emitted each year.

Last year, RSEnergy has installed photovoltaic (PV) plants with a total output of 5MW.

aleo solar and RSEnergy plans to continue their collaboration deal for the delivery of 5MW in this year.

The premium modules will be used for solar roofs on private homes and commercial buildings as well as for open-field installations.

The solar power plant will be operated by the Greek investor Nea Elektra.

Nea Elektra chairman Loukas Saridis said the modules from aleo solar are designed to last and are optimized to deliver maximum yields.
