Scheduled for delivery in 2015, the Alfa Laval Packinox heat exchangers will be used in the production of mixed xylenes.
Alfa Laval Group president and CEO Lars Renström said this order confirms that the Alfa Laval Packinox heat exchangers are reliable to use in demanding applications in refineries as well as petrochemical industries.
"Their unique energy efficiency is hard to match for any alternative technology," Renström added.
Alfa Laval provides products and engineering solutions based on its technologies of heat transfer, separation and fluid handling. The company’s products are also used in power plants and aboard ships, as well as for mechanical engineering industry, mining industry and wastewater treatment.
