During the year, a total of 5,584m of diamond and RC drilling, including 3,628m in recently completed Phase 2 of drilling, has been completed by Alligator in partnership with Macallum Group.
The Phase 2 drill program aimed primarily on the Caramal East area and the Orion North Prospect, focusing on targeting areas considered prospective for large (>100Mlb U3O8) deposits, within the broader Orion Trend.
The company has also received assay results from Phase 2 drilling at Caramal and Caramal East, with anomalous uranium and alteration intersected northeast of Caramal up to 10m at 672ppm U3O8 from 128m in OBD13-085.
Additionally, anomalous uranium and alteration was reported in drill hole OBR13-091 at Caramal East, with the intersection of 4m at 259ppm U3O8 from 82m.
Work prioritization will be assessed at Caramal/Caramal East following more thorough review of 2013 drill results, including all structural and geochemical data.
The company is expecting geochemical analyses of Orion North samples in January 2014.
