The contract includes planned and unplanned maintenance activities including parts and supervision services for the three GT26 gas turbines, steam turbines, generators and the associated auxiliaries.

The engineering, procurement and construction contract for the Terga 1,200MW gas fired power plant was awarded to Alstom in December 2007 and commercial operation is scheduled for 2011.

Under this contract, Alstom is delivering a full turnkey combined-cycle power plant integrating in-house core plant components built around Alstom’s advanced class GT26 gas turbine with best operational flexibility. The execution of the long-term maintenance contract will begin when the plant starts commercial operation.

Earlier in the first week of November 2008, An Alstom-led consortium received a full notice to proceed (NTP) on a turnkey contract by Hc Energia, for the construction of a 400 MW combined cycle power station in Soto de Ribera, Spain. The turnkey contract had been awarded in August 2008 and includes a long-term operation and maintenance contract. The total value of both contracts is 340 million euros and will be booked during the third quarter of fiscal year 2008/09.

Under the terms of the contract, Alstom will supply a fully integrated turnkey power plant, comprising of one KA26-1 single shaft power train, integrating in-house core plant components: one GT26 gas turbine, one heat recovery steam generator, one STF15c steam turbine and one TOPGAS turbogenerator.
