This JW Rig #5 will move onto the University 8 #1 location and is expected to begin drilling operations next week.
The company initiated the ten net well drilling program using the Viking Rig #20 and has spudded the University 42 #2 well.
American Standard, which will own 100% working interests in all ten wells, plans to drill the University Andrews 42 #2 well to the Devonian and then drill subsequent wells to the Strawn and complete them in the Strawn, Wolfcamp, Spraberry and Lower Clearfork formations.
The company said it will have the two rigs for this Phase 1 of its Permian Basin development program and expects to maintain them for future phases.
