The scope of the contract includes supply, installation, and commissioning of three 235MVA generators at the station.

The 636MW station, which is the second in a cascade of four power stations planned on the Murat River, is expected to be commissioned by 2016.

The facility will have an annual production capacity of 1,470GWh, which is enough clean energy to power 150,000 households in Turkey.

In 2012, Andritz Hydro had received a contract to supply three Francis turbines of 186MW each to Beyhan-1, which is first hydropower plant in Eastern Turkey.
