The contract includes model testing, supply of two new vertical Francis runners each with a capacity of 16MW, the hydromechanical equipment, rewind of both generators, as well as refurbishment of additional power plant equipment.
According to the company, recommissioning of the power project is scheduled for 2014.
Andritz claims that it is strengthening its market position for refurbishment of hydropower plants in the US.
Last year, the company won refurbishment contracts for the Webber Falls, Spring Creek, Lay Dam, Bouldin Dam, and Hoover dam hydropower plants.
