Mr Olson will replace Anthony Potter, who will remain at the company until August 15, 2008, and thereafter provide services as needed in order to facilitate an orderly transition.

Mr Olson joins Antrim’s executive management team with an extensive 30-year background in financial governance, corporate finance, strategic planning and reporting.

He has held senior financial positions at a number of public companies in the energy services, power generation and exploration and production sectors. Most recently, as vice president of finance of an income trust, he managed key components of its $3.6 billion privatization.

Stephen Greer, president and CEO of Antrim Energy, said: We are extremely pleased Doug has agreed to join Antrim. He brings a wealth of financial and industry experience that will add significantly to the existing strong management team. In addition to looking after the financial health of the company, Doug will also assist with corporate finance and corporate development capabilities in support of future acquisitions, joint ventures and financings.
