IWPC, part of the Ministry of Energy, is seeking applicants to undertake the scheme on a project finance basis. Construction of the project involves designing and building a 176.5m high double arch concrete dam, and a 300MW (2 x 150MW) power plant.
The Khersan III project is to be built on the Khersan river near Atashgah village.
