Organic growth was 7.1% in the nuclear and 16.7% in the transmission & distribution (T&D) businesses.

Anne Lauvergeon, CEO and chairman, said: The Areva group recorded accelerated growth and increased profitability in 2007, meeting both of our objectives for the year. For more than three years, Areva has built up its capacity to meet surging demand in the nuclear power and T&D markets through an active policy of R&D and by capitalizing on the diversity and strength of our partnerships.
