The project involves the construction of one of the world’s biggest distribution transformer manufacturing plants. It also includes the expansion of Areva’s power transformer and service facility in Gebze, Turkey.
The Areva group already has a strong industrial footprint in Turkey, where it has been present for over 40 years. Its activities in the country include the manufacturing of power transmission and distribution (T&D) products for local industries and utilities.
