The solar plant is expected to produce 1,858,548,000kWh of electricity during the next 25 years with zero carbon emission.

Astronergy CEO Liyou Yang said, "Astronergy will continue making more efforts to deliver the alternative energy to the world."

Astronergy senior vice president, CSO/CMO Alan Yuan said the company has kept its commitment to develop solar power plants with partners not only in mature PV markets, but also in emerging markets.

"Backed by its parent company, the Chint Group, Astronergy can provide a complete range of electrical products and solutions to solar project developments," Yuan added.

The company manufactured and mounted all the polycrystalline PV modules needed for the project in three months.

The generated electricity will be sold at a fixed tariff and will be connected to the local net-grid.

Astronergy is a provider of monocrystalline and polycrystalline PV modules.
