These lines will help improve electric system reliability in the region.
The two lines would feed into a new We Energies substation near Watertown Plank Road and 93rd St., adjacent to the existing We Energies coal-fired power plant and substation.
Work on the new lines and substation will begin in 2014 and will be operational by 2015.
