The competitively awarded contract covers supply of a total of 19 single and three phase transformers amounting to a total of 683.3MVA in three lots.
Additional responsibilities include provison of spare parts, supervision of installation and commissioning, as well as on-site training.

The transformesrs will be manufactured at the company’s facility in India, while delivery schedule remain undisclosed.
Comprising 1.3 million customers and approximately 32,000km of distribution lines, the Paraguayan grid has been growing at 4% p.a. since 2009.
CG also secured a contract to manufacture, supply, and install 30,000 smart meters in ANDE’s grid, to help reduce distribution losses, and enhance its energy efficiency.
