The property is located 80kms northeast of Durango in the middle of the Sierra Madre Silver Belt, and Avino is currently focusing on the San Gonzalo Mine, the Avino Mine, and the tailings pond.
During the third quarter, the company produced 50,074oz silver equivalent from 20,015 tonnes of dry mill feed at the Avino mine. Silver production increased with the overall tonnes milled growing over the period. There was, however, a slight decline in gold production due to lower feed grade, the company said.
The 250 tonne per day circuit at the Avino milling complex began processing high grade San Gonzalo material in October this year, while the material required for processing was stockpiled in September.
