Avro feels that this well was previously perforated at the wrong interval when it was first completed by the previous operator. The company has had the well logs from this well reviewed by consultants who believe that the well was perforated at the wrong interval and have recommended that Avro recomplete this well to bring it into production.
The company said it will continue to add to its assets in South Arkansas and is continuing to negotiate for further acquisitions in this area on a daily basis.
Avro is currently focused on building a core base of oil assets in South Arkansas. The company is also interested in joint venture opportunities with major oil and gas operators for the recompletion of existing deep wells in the area.
