Under the terms of the contract, the company will be responsible for the project development, design, material provision and installation of a 200km double circuit 400kV overhead electricity transmission line and related civil and access works.
Civil works include construction of temporary access roads and associated improvements to few private roads.
Balfour will also replace an existing 132kV overhead transmission line and reinstate existing sites.
Work is scheduled to be complete in 2015.
