The proper reactor water levels were maintained throughout the process by plant operating systems. The restart activities were temporarily suspended when the water was inadvertently removed from the reactor coolant system and routed to a holding tank inside the plant’s containment building.

The plant personnel isolated the water line to stop the flow of reactor coolant water. There was no impact to the health or safety of the public or employees. The plant was shut down on October 12 for refueling and maintenance work.
