The project, located at Shivanasamudram, has been developed for the state-utility Karnataka Power Corporation Limited (KPCL).
BHEL designed, manufactured, and supplied equipment for the project besides, erecting and commissioning the project using Crystalline Silicon Photovoltaic (C-SI PV) technology.
The company will also operate and maintain the solar power plant for a period of 3 years.
