The field was shut-down as a result of forest fires in the Slave Lake area in northern Alberta.
According to the company, it will take one to two weeks to restart production from all the wells at the field.
Mooney was producing approximately 700 barrels of oil per day at the time when the company shut-down operations.
The company reported that none of its facilities were damaged due to the Slave Lake forest fires.
