This is the second tranche of investment made by BPE which is committed to investing $2m as part of the stock purchase agreement signed back in January 2012.
The SPA makes a provision for an additional investment of up to $1m by BPE, its affiliates or others taking the value of the SPA to $3m overall.
BPE received 2,595,757 common shares of Blue Planet Environmental in exchange of its investment.
In addition to the SPA, Blue Planet has also entered into exclusive marketing services agreement with BPE for worldwide distribution and licensing of its commercial technology and products.
Blue Planet Environmental is a developer of applications that improve water quality and usage, and increase food production in chemical-free environment.
