PL Midstream lends services to both the producers and consumers of natural gas liquids, natural gas, and petrochemicals through over 240 miles of pipeline transportation, 53.5 million barrels of salt dome storage capacity, including 11.2 billion cubic feet of working natural gas storage capacity.

It also offers brine supply infrastructure and ethylene distribution system.

The company provides the services through its Choctaw Hub in the Mississippi River Corridor, Sulphur Hub in the Lake Charles area, and two hubs in southern Louisiana.

PL Midstream is owned by a joint venture between Boardwalk Pipeline Partners and Boardwalk Pipelines Holding, a wholly owned subsidiary of Loews and an affiliate of Boardwalk’s general partner.

The acquisition deal was approved by the independent Conflicts Committee of the Board of Directors.
