Over the last 21 months during Lafleur’s tenure as President and CEO, he overviewed the acquisition of important uranium land packages in Quebec, assisted with a major financing effort, and assisted in launching aggressive exploration programs in Quebec.
Kern formerly was vice-president exploration (Nevada) for the company, and will continue to be responsible for the coordination of company’s Nevada projects. Kern is a professional Geologist with over 30 years of experience in base and precious metal exploration in the US, Central America, South America and Australia. He has been involved in major discoveries in the Western U.S. and Australia, the most recent being Klondex Mines Ltd’s Fire Creek deposit in Nevada. Kern is currently the president of MinQuest, Inc. and prior to joining MinQuest he has held management level positions in companies such as North Mining, Inc., Homestake Mining Company, and Superior Oil. He has a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science Degree in Geology.
Billings holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Billings is currently the President and CEO of Orex Exploration Inc., and the President of Argex Silver Capital, a Capital Pool Company (CPC) trading on the TSX Venture Exchange.
