The liquid propane gas (LPG) terminal , which will cost a total of $70m, will be built by Bosowa’s Bosowa Duta Energasindo unit.

The LPG terminal will have a capacity of 10,000 tons and will be built in the Tamalanrea district of Makassar.

Bosowa Group will rent the LPG terminal to oil and gas firm Pertamina, which is joint partner in the project, reports Jakarta Globe.

Bosowa Group CEO Erwin Aksa said that the LPG terminal will help promote the government’s plan to convert the use of kerosene into gas.
