The company reported revenues of $0.32 million from the sale of gas in the first quarter, compared to $0.29 million in the same period of fiscal 2007. The increase was attributable to higher sales volume, which was partially offset by lower sales prices.

James Azlein, president and CEO of BPI, said: While the average sales price for this fiscal year’s first three months declined compared with a year ago, revenues were up on double-digit volume increases. Net gas sales volume also sequentially rose 19% versus the prior three month period.
