BPLG will provide its EasyGreen product for the project that aims to reduce building energy consumption and carbon emission, while helping the tenants save money on their utility bills.

EasyGreen remotely monitors energy usage from the building level down to the individual apartment level, thereby affecting consumer level energy consumption.

EasyGreen, which comes with a web-based user interface that is accessible from any Internet connected computer, helps the facility managers and building occupants gain visibility into their energy use.

The system combines software, communications and sensors to track water and electricity consumption throughout the facilities, thereby enabling an integrated management of electricity, thermal energy, and water services. Alarms can be set, sending alerts of leaks or excessive use to help conserve energy and water.

Alain Cecillon, managing director of Vilogia Horizon, said: “Our commitment to a cleaner environment and helping tenants save on their utility costs led us to select BPLG’s EasyGreen solution.

“We are excited to replicate their proven success in improving energy efficiency of apartment buildings. BPLG’s technology will help us comply with our regional energy efficiency plan and cost effectively meet our goals.”
