The lamps are compliant with energy efficiency requirement for incandenscent lamps of EISA. Effective 2010, general service light bulbs must operate upto 30% more energy efficeint than current standards require.
Bulbrite claimed that the consumers will gain the benefits of higher efficiency without having to convert to CFLs or LEDs.
The company said that its energy saving, dimmable Halogen A19 lamp is available in four different styles, all of which use less energy than the conventional incandescents. The 29W is equivalent to lumen output to the 40W incandescent, the 43W to 60W incandenscent, 53W equivalent to 75W and 72W comparable to 100W incandescent.
The lamp is available in clear and softwhite finishes for use on a 120v lighting system. Each bulb has life expectancy of 1000 hours and its lumen output ranges from 380 for the 29W soft white style to 1490 lumens for the 72W clear finished version.
