Preussag Noell of Germany has signed a contract with Andino Hydropower Engineering. Andino is to take over the remaining backlog of Noell Stahl-und Maschinenbrau’s (NST) orders as a subcontractor of NST, and will also have responsibility for new business in the field of water turbines.

The Preussag Noell Group has also been celebrating its 175th anniversary this year. The roots of the group date back to the establishment of a blacksmiths by Matthias Noell in Würzburg in 1824.

Meanwhile, RMD, the formwork and falsework specialist, will be combining its existing products with those currently offered by the Formwork Division of Kwikform.

This follows the acquisition of the Kwikform UK parent company Bandt, by Tilbury Douglas, the parent company of RMD.

RMD and Kwikform’s Formwork Division will in future operate as a single company with a greater focus on formwork, falsework and shoring.

The scaffolding company, Kwikform UK, will operate as a separate company.
