B&W PGG signed contracts for a total consideration of $65m to design and supply emissions control equipments for four of Luminant’s coal-fired power plants, including construction at two of these plants.

B&W PGG president and chief operating officer Richard Killion was quoted by SunHerald.com as saying that securing the work shows Luminant’s confidence in B&W PGG to provide the right environmental solution for their fleet.

"Each plant has different needs from an emission control standpoint – all of which can be handled by our broad portfolio of environmental products and services," said Killion.

The company said that it also anticipates for an additional environmental and construction work at Luminant facilities in the future.
