Under the contract, B&W NE will perform inspection, eddy current testing, visual inspections, repair, cleaning and water lancing for steam generators at North Anna, Surry and Millstone nuclear stations, which are located at Mineral, Virginia; Surry, Virginia; and Waterford, Connecticut, respectively.
B&W NE’s services not only use robotic tooling and inspection technology, but also are cost effective with low dose rates and short outage schedules.
B&W NE president Joe Zwetolitz said they look forward to providing the Dominion fleet with exceptional steam generator inspection and repair services.
