Mr Meidell is responsible for the company’s business strategy, long-term projects, investor relations and human resources.
Prior to joining BW, Mr Gleeson was the CFO Asia and UK for the financial services group Compagnie Financiere Tradition.
In order to create a sustainable organization in terms of size, competency and cost base, BW Gas said that it will in the near future right-size the organization.
The company also announced that a separate fleet management organization, BW Fleet Management, has been established, combining the strengths of the technical management teams in BW Gas and BW Shipping. Morten Martinsen, director of technical and marine division, is the managing director of BW Fleet Management.
