The said trucks have been converted from diesel fuel to run on electric battery power and produce zero emissions by TransPower technologies.
According to TransPower CEO Mike Simon, these trucks are among the most powerful, advanced electric vehicles ever built.
The vehicles are Class 8 truck tractors are Navistar International Pro-Star on-road tractor & a Kalmar Ottawa off-road tractor and can carry loads of up to 80,000 pounds.
Each truck employ a new technology to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 100 tons annually and save about $50,000 a year in diesel fuel and maintenance costs.
