The event has been organised to improve understanding of the impacts of increased integration of new intermittent and non-dispatchable generation sources on hydroelectric operations, with specific focus on the strategies employed by generation, utilities, and system operators.
Themes of the event are:
• Experiences of current hydroelectric energy generators with increased integration of non-dispatchable sources of supply.
• Strategic Planning for the integration of non-dispatchable generation.
• System Reliability challenges associated with market operations and operating costs.
If you would like to submit an abstract, please email your details to workshops@ceati.com. Presentations will be evaluated on their applicability to the subject matter and their technical merit; technology and service providers are encouraged to partner with their hydro power organization clients when submitting abstracts.
Presenters are required to purchase a full registration (to attend all sessions) at the reduced speaker rate.
