ZJS-04 is the second well in the planned three-well program for 2011 at the company’s Zijinshan gas asset, which covers an area of 175,000 acres in the Ordos Basin.
Camac Energy CEO Kase Lawal said that the work program in China continues to move forward, which is an important step towards further evaluating the resource potential of the Zijinshan gas asset.
Camac Energy, which is engaged in the exploration, development and production of oil and gas, currently has operations in Nigeria and, through its Pacific Asia Petroleum subsidiaries, in China.
