Under the contract valued at $56m, the company will be responsible for the supply of wellheads, trees, flow bases, electro-hydraulic multiplexed controls, connections, pipeline end manifolds and other associated subsea equipment.

Delivery of the subsea production systems is scheduled to commence in early 2012.

Cameron chairman and CEO Jack Moore said this project is ground-breaking for Det Norske as it is the company’s first field development as operator, and for Cameron as it represents its first full subsea system supply in the Norwegian North Sea.
