Mr Chien was a director of Canadian Solar from December 2005 until he joined company’s management team in September 2007. Prior to his work at Canadian Solar, he was the managing director of Beijing Yinke Investment Consulting, which provides financial consulting services. Mr Chien was also the CFO of China Grand Enterprises, a diversified investment holding company based in Beijing, China.
