The headrace tunnel and surge tank, which is approximately 5-6m wide, is expected to be complete within 40 months. Cavico will receive payments for its work periodically after reaching designated stages of completion.
The A Luoi plant, owned by Central Hydropower Joint Stock Co, is located in Thua Hue province 69km west of Hue city. The 170MW plant, valued at US$202.1M, is expected to become operational at the end of 2010.
