Under the contract, CB&I will provide early detail engineering and procurement services for multiple new process units, including a 2.5 million ton per annum hydrocracker unit licensed by Chevron Lummus Global, and hydrogen and sulfur units licensed by CB&I and other associated units.

In 2014, CB&I was awarded a contract by NefteGazIndustriya to provide the technology licenses and frontend engineering and design (FEED) services for the Afipsky refinery.

CB&I Engineering, Construction and Maintenance operating group president Patrick Mullen said: "This award follows on the successful delivery of the front end engineering and design of the Afipsky Oil Refinery.

"The contract is a reflection of NefteGazIndustriya’s confidence in our ability to offer our customers a more complete supply chain solution–showcasing our expertise in technology as well as engineering, procurement and construction management."

Energy infrastructure focused company, CB&I provides wide range of services including design, engineering, construction, fabrication, maintenance and environmental services.
