Both the 1.120MW carport/ground mount and a 560.28kW ground solar systems were designed and constructed by Cenergy Power.
The 1.7MW of solar PV is expected to produce about 2,600,000kWh of clean energy per year to sort, roast and package millions of pounds of pistachios each year in Setton’s 300,000sq ft processing facility.
This is equivalent to removing over 1,880 metric tons of CO2 from the atmosphere or planting 400 acres of pine forest annually.
In addition to the design, engineering and installation, the company will be providing ten years of scheduled operations and maintenance for the system, as per the solar agreement.
