The natural gas-fired facility in West Deptford Township will produce enough electricity to power about 600,000 homes.
CH2M HILL will be responsible for all site and civil work, supply and installation of two Siemens SGT6-5000F combustion turbine generator units, two heat recovery steam generators, one steam turbine generator, and complete balance of plant, including commissioning and startup.
The company will also provide a 230kV electrical switchyard, and construction of the plant will begin in early 2012 with commercial operations targeted for 2014.
