Maryland-based Chesapeake said that it is seeking to expand its geography by acquiring distribution businesses to provide high quality products and services to its customers.

Chesapeake CEO Tony Santy said that with the acquisition of Skyline, Chesapeake is adding three new brands of motor oil to its portfolio of nationally known lubricants.

“We feel it will insure that any retail outlet in our area of distribution interested in giving its customers a quality brand of motor oil need only deal with one distributor,” Santy said.
