The MoU with the government also includes Gogreen’s subsidiary Beijing Jun Yang Investment Company with the total capacity of the PV projects pegged at 60MW.
The rooftop installations will be deployed in the city of Xuchang, Henan Province and will require an investment of RMB720m ($115.3m).
While the two companies will handle the installations, the Xuchang government will work towards securing the necessary permits required.
Execution of the project will take place in stages with the first phase involving the deployment of 30MW installation and expected to be completed in July 2014.
Remainder of the project is expected to be completed by December 2015.
These PV systems, when completed, will be operated and managed by a local fully-owned subsidiary of Beijing Jun Yang.
