Under the £11m contract, Clough AMEC joint venture will provide three new reciprocating gas-driven compressors and associated process and utility plant for the expansion of the existing central gas processing facility.

The plant expansion will increase the current total number of wells in the Daandine gas field by 22 while the production will be increased by installing additional infrastructure as well as modifying existing infrastructure.

The Daandine expansion project will include the installation of additional well facilities and new gas and water gathering pipelines in the Daandine field in Queensland’s Surat basin.

AMEC Australia East regional director Steve Ciccone said, "We will draw on our considerable engineering expertise in the Australian Coal Seam Gas industry to help Arrow achieve their long term objectives for the Daandine project, safely and sustainably."
