Tokyo Electric Power Co (TEPCO) and Tokyo Gas Co are forming an alliance in cogeneration. The two utilities will develop a cogeneration plant in Tokyo on a former Japan National Railways site. The plant is due to be operational by 2002.
TEPCO and Tokyo Gas will cooperate in development, design and construction of cogeneration systems.
